DIY Sunday - We did it ourselves!

In October my husband Andy and I bought an 84 year old home in Beaverdale (Des Moines). I saw the potential immediately and we were excited to prove to our friends and family our vision.

We are still working on it room by room, but here is a glimpse...

• Painted the walls, trim and cabinets
• Installed a wall microwave

• Tore out some cabinets and put in a dishwasher and wine shelf

• Still debating whether or not to tear down this wall or use this window to create something more useful
